The image used for the banner is of The Murder Capital before they went on stage to perform to a sold-out crowd in Vicar Street.

For me, this is a perfect example of Love and Passion.

We see the lead singer James McGovern embracing his band member Diarmuid Brennan with another member embracing a friend in the background.

From spending time with the guys, I've seen their love for each other time and time again.

Their facial expressions and hands show the passion they shared at that moment and the love is found on their journey.

The original black and white image was taken during a performance by Joey Dosik in The Sugar Club.

He asked the couple up to dance as he knew they shared a deep connection of love.

With their passion for the music and the love they shared for each other, I believe it embodies the term 'Love and Passion'.

My name is Nicholas O'Donnell. I'm a 22-year-old music and portrait photographer from West Cork.

I discovered my passion for photography eight years back, on a road trip around Cork. Since then, I've worked in many genres of photography, such as landscape, nightclubs, journalistic work, weddings, and now music and portraiture.

Believe it or not, I refused to photograph people at the beginning, purely landscape. As the years went on and my interests changed, that refusal also changed and led me down some of the most beautiful ventures. In 2017, I studied photography for a year in Cork and moved up to Dublin soon after.

In the three years I spent living in Dublin, I've had work published on album covers and magazine covers, worked for festivals such as Electric Picnic, Longitude, and Indiependence Festival and photographed many concerts.

I've worked closely and toured across Ireland and the UK, with artists such as Declan McKenna, The Coronas, Wild Youth, Whenyoung, Touts, and New Rules to name a few.

Much of my work has been created through building a friendship with artists and being let into their lives.

Throughout the lockdown, I've taken a much more artistic and creative approach to my portraiture, using different filters, much more analog, and even bendy mirrors in recent times.

As the future goes on, I want to bring more of a Psychedelic style to my work as photography is an art form that can be pushed and bent in any direction.

This August, I leave Ireland to pursue photography over in London.
