Enter if you dare!

Nightmare Dog by H. Pauline Dunne

There’s a lot of pros and cons to having a dog. Pros: Soft Ears, Excellent Walking Companion. Cons: Gets Into The Turf And Eats Some, Vomits Horrifying Black Goo.

She’s fine now. Don’t even worry about it.

About the artist:

H. Pauline Dunne is an animator and illustrator based in Co. Laois. Her work is often autobiographical in nature and attempts to straddle the line between horror and comedy. You can follow her on twitter @hpaulinedunne and instagram/tiktok @almostphd

Bent Heart Benediction by Void Copy

This piece is inspired by the state of the world today, and what we’re paying attention to. Where the true horrors of tomorrow can be found.

About the artist:

Void copy is something you have to remember to forget. It's a rewritten history, from a singular perspective. A message machine. Take it or leave it. You can find them on twitter @void_copy

The Dullahan by Amy Louise

The Dullahan is a headless rider, on a black horse, who carries his own head in his hand. The Dullahan is believed to use the spine of a human corpse for a whip. It is believed that when he stops riding, a person is due to die. The Dullahan calls out the person's name, taking away the soul of his victim, at which point the person immediately drops dead.

The Banshee by Amy Louise

A banshee is a female spirit in Irish folklore who heralds the death of a family member, usually by wailing, shrieking, or keening. A banshee would sing when a family member died or was about to die. If the person had died far away and news of their death had not yet come, her wailing would be the first warning of the death.

About the artist:

Amy Louise is an illustrator and sometimes animator from Cork. She spent a chunk of 2020 living in Japan, narrowly avoiding Ireland's first lockdown in favour of eating 7/11 noodles and speaking bad Japanese. Now back in Ireland, she balances her time between illustration, improving her bad Japanese and playing a lot of video games, but never actually finishing them. You can find her on Twitter and Instagram.

My Greatest Fear by Liam Horgan

This art features my greatest fear as a child, Boulder from Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.

He is unmoving, unwavering, uncaring.

Fear him.

About the artist:

Liam is a film lover, Letterboxd user and cake enthusiast. He recently came to terms with the fact that he is probably a film bro, but he understands that we all make mistakes. When he’s not eating cake he can be found avoiding doing meaningful tasks like learning how to drive. He mainly writes, you can view his work here.
